After using DA, maximum occlusal force (MOF) and masticatory performance (MP) showed significant improvement after one week, but no further improvement was observed at the 12-week follow-up. The study also found that wearers of metal-based RPDs experienced more pronounced benefits. However, as this was a single-arm clinical trial lacking a control group, the conclusions require further validation.
