DentalGoodNews|March 19, 2026, Silicon Valley medical AI robotics startup Dentronic announced that it has been selected for the "Founder Fellowship" program by the American founder community and early-stage investment institution South Park Commons (SPC), and has secured approximately $1 million (about 6.9 million RMB) in Pre-Seed funding.
According to public information, Dentronic was founded by a team of experts with backgrounds in engineering and medicine, dedicated to developing robotic technology that automates repetitive auxiliary tasks in dental treatments. The company aims to address efficiency issues in clinical settings caused by workforce shortages.
In 2025, Dentronic launched the chairside robotic arm "Dexer." This robot is designed to perform repetitive auxiliary operations such as suction and maintaining a clear field of view. It features a multi-directional movement structure and a high-stability control system, aiming to reduce the workload of medical staff and improve diagnosis and treatment efficiency.
According to the company's disclosure, the funds from this round of financing will be used to accelerate the mass production of the Dexer robot and advance the research and development of next-generation Physical AI technology. The company plans to develop semi-automated models that integrate robotic vision and language models, gradually increasing the level of automation by accumulating data in real medical environments. Additionally, the company hopes to accelerate talent acquisition and expand into the US market.
Dentronic CEO Cui Jingyuan stated: "Our goal is to alleviate the burden on medical staff through Physical Artificial Intelligence, thereby enabling more patients to benefit from stable and consistent care. Just as autonomous driving technology has gradually developed by accumulating data in real environments, Dentronic will also accumulate data in real medical environments and achieve automation in phases."
Currently, the company's first batch of products has been completed and sold out. In the future, Dentronic plans to expand its market through cooperation with American Dental Service Organizations (DSOs) and aims to extend the application of its technology to broader medical fields such as surgery in the long term. Furthermore, the company plans to introduce "Physical Intelligence" in phases, claiming this technology may be able to identify and manipulate instruments in real clinical environments.
