DentalGoodNews | Recently, the National Bureau of Statistics released profit data for industrial enterprises in 2025. Yu Weining, Chief Statistician of the Industrial Department of the National Bureau of Statistics, pointed out that the high-quality development of China's medical sector has shown results, with profits in the dental equipment and instrument manufacturing industry increasing by 29.7% year-on-year in 2025.

During the same period, profits of industrial enterprises above designated size nationwide increased by 0.6% year-on-year, manufacturing profits increased by 5.0% year-on-year, high-tech manufacturing profits increased by 13.3% year-on-year, and profits in genetic engineering pharmaceuticals and vaccine manufacturing, and biological pharmaceuticals manufacturing increased by 72.7% and 37.1% respectively.

In comparison, the profit growth rate of dental equipment manufacturing was 29.1 percentage points higher than that of all industrial enterprises above designated size, 24.7 percentage points higher than the overall manufacturing sector, and 16.4 percentage points higher than the high-tech manufacturing sector.

The statistical scope covers industrial enterprises above designated size with annual main business revenue of 20 million yuan or more, and all relevant data are calculated on a comparable basis.
